Beaver Brook Association headquartered in Hollis, New Hampshire is pleased to announce the gift of a 19 acre plot now added to the 2100 acres of land it now owns and manages in Hollis, Milford and Brookline.

John V. Testa, a Hollis resident, was the donor of this wooded plot located just south of Rt. 130 across from the Burton Farm. The land has a mixture of white pine and oak trees and is near the Schoen Farm Wildlife Management Area. Peter Smith, Natural Resources Manager at Beaver Brook points out that about 500 feet of the Elkins Road Trail passes through this land and hikers have for many years enjoyed these quiet woods. “Mr. Testa and the previous owner never objected to Beaver Brook hikers using that part of the trail but with his generosity the entire trail is on Beaver Brook Property. We are very pleased with his gift.”

Beaver Brook’s trail system is open to the public dawn to dusk. Visitors have year- round access and of course it’s free!
