Souhegan student found with loaded gun

A female student from Souhegan High School was safely removed from the building without incident after officials were told she had a loaded gun with her. According to WMUR, “the girl confided in another student that she was having some problems and that she brought a handgun to school.”

Dispatch supervisor arrested for hosting drinking party

The communications supervisor at the Amherst Public Safety Communications Center, Shawn Brewer, was arrested on Saturday at his home in Milford charged with hosting an underage drinking party. According to the Milford Police arrest logs, Brewer was released on personal recognizance bail pending a March 9th arraignment to be held at Milford District Court.

Cause of 4-alarm fire deemed ‘accidental’

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for Western and Central Hillsborough County with the expectation of heavy snowfall at times. Estimated accumulations of 7-12 inches is possible with the highest amounts falling late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
